International Children's Sculpture Idea Contest


The Hyogo Children's Center will hold a drawing competition based on the theme "My Dream".

The two pieces that win the Gold Prize and Silver Prize will become a monument and will be placed at the Hyogo Children's Center.

This is a chance for you to give shape to your dreams!

First screeningScreening of electronic data

Main screeningScreening of drawings in person

  1. (1) If you pass the first screening (around January 2019), we will ask you to send your drawing paper to the office. Please keep it in a safe place. (For the main screening, judges will evaluate the actual drawings.)
  2. (2) The results of the first screening will be announced around February 2019.
  3. (3) We do not respond to inquiries regarding the screening.

Gold Prize: One drawing, Silver Prize: One drawing, Bronze Prize: One drawing, Honorable Mentions: Ten drawings

  • • The prizewinners will be announced during the anniversary ceremony for the center’s 30th anniversary on May 5, 2019. (Winners will be notified in advance.)
  • • The winners of the Gold Prize and Silver Prize (children and a parent) will be invited to the monument unveiling ceremony (after fall 2019).
About the entries
  1. (1) The entries will not be returned.
  2. (2) The copyright to the entries belongs to the sponsor. The entries will be used for the purpose of display, PR materials, and other displays.
  3. (3) The personal information of the entrants will not be used for any other purposes outside of the competition.
